We have had the opportunity over the years to study and build up a good impression of Road Safety in Malta from our experience in advocacy, meeting stakeholders, and organising educational events and conferences. That experience is now being translated into a living document which encompasses our vision for enhancing road safety in Malta. A lot has already been done but more needs to be done to reach established international targets and move towards Vision Zero.

This document entitled Enhancing Road Safety in Malta, will form the basis of our future advocacy on this subject. It is particularly relevant at this moment when our nation will choose its next government. Our NGO will work with whoever is in government to push towards the initiatives and goals in this document.

We hope that this document will help our politicians formulate their opinions on the subject and express their favour towards our proposals. We believe that the key proposal in this document is to establish a Malta Road Safety Authority which will oversee all aspects relevant to road safety, a key issue affecting the lives of so many people.
