NGO working group (D4RS, MAP and FSWS) launch Position Paper on Drug-driving

A working group of experts from Doctors for Road Safety (D4RS), the Maltese Association of Psychiatry (MAP) and the Foundation for Social Welfare Services (FSWS) today launched a Position Paper on Drug-driving. This collaboration paper addresses the issue of driving under the influence of psychoactive drugs and specifically the implications on road safety. It addresses the current limits of the laws in Malta and advises and recommends interventions and solutions.

D4RS would like to thank the working group representatives from the three organisations for their time and commitment towards this cause, and augur that the content of the paper will stimulate and enhance the discussion around this subject amongst partners and decision makers, and hopefully help formulate policies and actions to curb abuse and improve road safety.
